Tobacco Processing Expertise
V.I.T. has extensive experience in the design and manufacture of equipment for tobacco processing applications, covering Oriental Tobacco Processing, Flue-Cured and Burley Green Leaf Threshing (GLT), as well as specialized systems for handling, conditioning and processing agricultural materials.
Our engineering approach is based on the characteristics of each product and production process. Equipment can be developed as an individual machine or as part of a wider processing line, combining mechanical design, material handling, automation and process control.
This experience also extends to herbs and alfalfa dehydration, while V.I.T. has developed dedicated machinery such as the Oriental Tobacco Harvester, supporting the mechanization of traditionally labor-intensive operations.
